Last week I went to Nag's Head to hang out with old friends and meet new ones. It was a great time to relax and escape from life for a bit. Taking my camera was a given, though. Never leave home without it!

New York City - Fall 2011.
One of the first things we saw was an semi-interactive art sculpture. Large, solid, bent panels of steel curved in and out of a large gallery, allowing visitors to walk through the folds of the enormous metal waves. The orange color is due to the oxidation of the iron that was used.
Boston, MA.
Recently, Kathleen and I went to Boston, Massachusetts for a long weekend. We walked around the city, enjoyed some wonderful cuisine, went shopping, and of course, took a ton of pictures.
Annapolis, MD.
Kathleen and I took a spontaneous road trip to Annapolis in July. The weather was perfect that day. We got to stick our feet in the water, walk around downtown, go to an awesome tea shop with a wall of tea to smell (I wish I'd taken a photo of it!), and enjoy the beautiful scenery. As we were sitting on the bench below, we were both thinking "I could live here." It was a melding of minds moment.
