Scraggletree.
I love this tree. It has a lot of character for just being a tree. It stands alone in a field overlooking Blacksburg. Soon, this field will be full of new houses and new families. It has put up a good fight, but I have a feeling it's going to lose this battle in the end.
Trampoline Trees.
I was having a heart to heart with one of my friends as we were out on the trampoline in the backyard. It was late, probably 11:30pm or so, and the night sky was covered in clouds. Not a star in sight. Fairfax, being as busy as it is, never quite goes dark. The lights from the surrounding buildings were lighting up the sky to an interesting red/yellowish kind of color. I thought it looked better in black and white, though.
Night photography requires long exposures, and there I was, laying on the trampoline with no tripod. What was a girl to do? I plastered the camera to my face, held my breath, and hoped for a decent photo.
